Favorite Farmers

Blue Goat Restaurant
Home-style, locally sourced, wood-fired cookery.  Our friends and former neighbors in Amity, Cassie & Dave.  Their restaurant is gorgeous and their food is like plate art.  Go in for a bite or a drink Wed-Sun.

Daisy Fed, LLC.
Home made goat milk soaps and bath products.  Cindy raises her own nubian goats in Oregon City and can be found at the Oregon City Farmer’s Market nearly all year round!  Her soaps and bath bombs are the best!

Fields of Hope Farm
Seasonal produce and meat CSA.  Devon and Steve are farming at the old Amity Farm.  They use sustainable practices to raise veggies, fruit, milk, and meats for their clients.  Give her a call and sign up for your next CSA.

Full Circle Creamery
Fresh local cow’s milk cheeses.  These guys sell the most delicious cheeses at our local Farmer’s Market in Independence.  They are great and so are their cheeses.  Their farm is in Scio, but they sell all over Independence.

Lion’s Share Coffee and Bakery
Breads, croissants, scones, sweets, GF options, and really good coffee.  We go here at least once a week.  They are local, friendly, seasonal and delicious!  Great prices and cozy atmosphere.

Persephone Farms
Organic produce and eggs. I’m surprised they don’t have a website of their own, but they grow the most beautiful produce.  When I need something for a party or just for dinner, I drive directly to their stand at the Salem Farmer’s Market.  They sell unusuals like multi-colored produce, garlic scapes, loose leaf lettuce, heirloom varieties, and Auracana eggs.
